When Fairmont School District searches for a new superintendent this year, board President Joe Ryan won't pick someone who wants extra compensation for writing grants.

All lanes of westbound Interstate 80 at Larkin Avenue were closed briefly around 6 p.m. Thursday because of a traffic accident, state police said.
