Nail in the coffin for both Wiggins who co-authored the bill and Evans her Whine Country Partner... Lets see Wiggins gave away our Ferry at the urging of Don Perada and "friends." and she wants to dictate if we get to declare bankruptcy? Senator Wiggins, the Unions backed both your and Evans campaigns, you gave Vallejo a spanking and going against your request not to declare bankruptcy, time for a new guard. WE DONT NEED THE WHINE COUNTRY REPRESENTING VALLEJO! Lets vote for our own "home grown" candidates, VALLEJO NEEDS TO GET IT'S POLITICAL MO-JO BACK!!!"

Thank goodness for the integrity of those like Wolk and Cox. This bill is pure GARBAGE. Everybody knows it. Its union manipulation at its worst. These Wiggins and Mendoza buffoons should be in prison for accepting bribes.

This is the best news -- Wiggins should be run out on a rail.

Redistricting will happen after 2010 census - is there a possibily for Vallejo to get away from Whine Country and added to our Solano County neighbors? Right now, all we are good for is the IAFF/Vallejo campaign contributions. Wiggins and Evans both showed that their true allegiance is not with the beleagured citizens of Vallejo but with the unions, with their 11th hour BK letters and with their supprt of AB 155.

Sounds like Wiggins is losing her mind and will retire but Evans -- this will follow her when she runs again.

Why should cities 'respect' union contracts any more than they respect the 'duty' to serve the citizens of the city? These lying nitwits in the legislature actually are suggesting that 100% of a city's revenues should go to unions if that is what it takes to 'resect' union contracts that were agreed to under different financial circumstances than now exist. Ridiculous. when the economy goes into the tank the way the economy of the United States has, NO union contract deserves respect. Toss 'em out and start again.

It is cleat that when the going gets tough for a municipality, the BIG budget items are going to take the first hit, and that is almost always in the area of government employees. The city of Vallejo now has over 70% of its budget going to compensation of police & fire employees! That is totally unsustainable and absurd on its face.

Public service union contracts may get more respect when they are negotiated with transparency, not under the secret cloak of the Brown Act. Puff on that awhile, Senator Wiggins!

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Aquarius

This is another day when financial matters cause trouble, as Mars reverses in your seventh house. What started off as a minor niggle with a partner or an opponent yesterday could now escalate into a full-blown row, but at least this will give you the chance to get certain things out into the open. Legal issues from the past may become ugly. If you're pointing the finger of blame at someone, don't get so heated that you accuse them of everything under the sun.
