According to The Times-Tribine this morning, State Police in Tunkhannock are investigating an armed robbery at Ray's Supermarket. Police report that a man in his 20's about 5'2" to 5'5" tall, thin, wearing a dark jacket with white striping, showed the cashier a knife, demanded money, the ran away.

This Editor thinks that area residents should remember to use their concealed permits to carry daily, reminding those with bad intentions that Factoryville will not tolerate crime. The mere presence of openly armed citizens is a deterrent. Protect our way of life.
