St. Landry Parish economy slows
After a robust May, St. Landry Parish's economy suffered a downturn in June. Sales tax collections, which were up 15.4 percent in May, climbed 6 percent in June according to figures released his week by the St. Landry Parish School Board, which tracks sale tax collections for the parish.
