In the Acadia Parish Police Jury's meeting room Tuesday morning, Assessor James "Jimbo" Petitjean gathered a variety of officials from different agencies in the parish for a presentation that could put the parish at the forefront of mapping technology in the state.

During the Crowley city council meeting Tuesday night, the council moved to condemn four dilapidated properties, honored a recently deceased man who served the city for decades and donated a police unit to the city of Estherwood.
