An Estherville woman was taken to the hospital following an early Saturday morning accident east of Arnolds Park.

James E. "Jim" Giebler, 85, died May 10, at home with family present in Hays. Born June 26, 1927 in Severin, he was the son of James F. and Virginia Giebler.

Funeral service for Verdine L. Wood of Emmetsburg is 10:30 a.m. today, Thursday, at Grace Baptist Church in Emmetsburg.

A Bancroft woman was injured in a two vehicle accident, in Estherville. Estherville Police said the accident happened shortly after 3:30 Tuesday afternoon, at the intersection of Central Avenue and West 1st Street.
