Two-vehicle crash injures four near Ernul
Four people were injured Monday when two full-size pickup trucks collided at the intersection of N.C. 43 and U.S. 17 around 4 p.m. According to investigating Trooper M.A. Riggs of the N.C. Fire damages pickup truck, snarls U.S. 17 traffic
A Sunday afternoon fire severely damaged a 2006 Ford four-door pickup truck that was pulling a boat and brought traffic on two-lane U.S. 17 between Vanceboro and Ernul to a standstill.
Fatal wreck attributed to speeding
A Vanceboro man died early Saturday morning after running off the left side of the road and striking a utility pole while speeding, according to North Carolina Highway Patrol officials.
