Englewood's Beirut building to be razed - finally

The Beirut building is coming down -- finally. The owner of the dilapidated, unfinished building, a longtime eyesore in Englewood, dropped a court appeal and Charlotte County plans to demolish the structure, Commissioner Robert Skidmore said Friday.
