Police, FBI Search Putnam Home
Town police and FBI agents executed a search warrant Friday morning at a residence on Front Street as part of an ongoing federal investigation.
Investigators searched a second-floor apartment at 84 Front St. A federal judge has ordered the warrant sealed at this time, according to a statement released by town police.
The investigation, according to police, does not involve the business on the first floor, Mark Edmonds Antique Emporium, or its owner. While investigators were at this location, town police arrested Kevin Davis, 37, of 84 Front St., on charges of risk of injury to a minor, operating a drug factory, cultivating marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Davis' arrest was independent of the federal investigation, police said. Read more
