Rosie Ledet at Center of Baby Death Investigation

What's wrong with all these crazy people, this is the 3rd or 4th one I hear that they killed there baby.... WHY is this!!!! they can give them away NOW the dumm A's have to go to JAIL I HOPE, but with are laws they will be havin more SHAME ON THEM..... I hope they all get's what comin to them .........

who are you to be judging someone,you don't know what happen or what she was going through.true, she should have handled it better.she had a stillborn baby,she didn't kill her baby.you don't know how that affects a person's mind.if you ever lost a baby,then you know what i'm talking about.it's too many people saying negative things about rosie and the other mother,who's child died in the car, instead of praying for these mothers.
it really don't matter what yall have to say,because both women are suffering from the loss of their child and nothing yall say can hurt them.although it was a tragedy, it was god's will and i will continue to pray for these mothers.

Where was Rosie when her child was laid to rest in the cemetary??? NO ONE ATTENDED!!! that is pathetic!!

Thought the child was still at autopsy? It's already buried?

Suffering??? I can think of many words to describe Rosie, but suffering never came to mind. Especially thinking of her buring the baby in a shed while she sang and danced on stage for 3-4 days.

She could have alerted authorities, but that seems like it may have been too inconvenient for her. If she didn't want to miss her gigs, she could have declined treatment for herself and gone on about her life.

Please let me know what I am missing.

I am very sorry if you are calling me judgemental but remember babies do not ask to come here. Yes, I am praying for the mother and the father too because he is just as much to blame too. I have to give the mom much credit because atleast she had been at work. We need to grasp education and raise and supervise our children not matter what the circumstances are. Yes, it certainly was a tradgedy but, it is happening too often and we as a people are angry because these things can be avoided. Our parents took good care of us and we need to do the same for our children. NO EXCUSES!

As you read this, let us all pray for the soul of one of God's beautiful angels. He is certainly now in the loving arms of God. God Bless You.

It's just sad and I'm the last person to judge really hate people standing in judgement. However you don't have to judge this to know all were wrong acts.

As to Rosie I met her before lovely woman really upbeat great personality. But I have no idea why she reacted the way she did can't wrap my head around it AT ALL. My heart goes out to the family one thing i'm positive of it's a rough time for all of them.

As to the baby that died in a locked car I feel sorry for the loss of that child and I feel the mother is feeling her loss....I don't feel sorry that she will have to serve time and lose her other children.....if CPS would have done their job the baby could still be alive it wasn't the first incident....a year ago I had first hand expirence of the mother's neglect. Although the incident didn't render any harm to the child it certainly could have. For anyone posting anger of people standing in judgement for the parents please use some of that energy for the victims the innocent victims that didn't ask to be brought into this world and deserved at the very least...reasonable care.

Rosie as I know is a cheerful, playful, and a happy person. You first have to imaging what she went through giving birth to a child by herself and then to have it still born. Hell that can make anyone have a break down. I am a nurse and also I am pregnant now I can tell you that I am not in my right mind at the moment. The increase of Hormones and what a women body goes through and also the increase stress of the situation she was in. Everyone have things that they have done in there life that they will not want to share with anyone the only different is that you all know of her. I think everyone has some kind of mental problem with the increase of stress that the world has in it.So don't judge her, you never know in life what you have to face.

I think if you are able to travel and perform on stage after doing what she did doesn't show a person with a mental problem, it takes alot mentally to perform live on stage.. i don't feel any sorry for this lady.. all she had to do is call for help... or maybe her trip was more important...

Don't preach to the choir tmama. I am certified crazy, refused to take meds thu all 3 of my pregnancies AND as long as my babies were nursing. I had some CRAZY things go thru my mind more than once, and all 3 are still alive and healthy.

I do believe she didn't know she was pregnant, but labor HURTS. If she didn't know she was in labor (since it's been 20 yrs), she probably would've thought she was near death and would have gotten help.

No way she would have no clue what's going on, be in that much pain and not call someone for help.

I do not personally know Rosie, but I do know her family. From what I understand the baby was not actually her's. I am by no means trying to take up for anyone. I am just saying don't give Rosie a bad name until you know all the facts. It is quite possible that the baby was not actually hers.

If that's the case y was SHE the one hemoraging? Possible, maybe not probable. Did u maybe understand? Maybe the father was undetermined? I'm just asking...

All I'm saying is that I was told she did what she did to protect someone else!

i want to clear up a few facts ... tmg seems to know a lot about nothing!!!! when the investigation is over lots of people will be very sorry for saying these things about rosie !!! just to anybody who wants to do a little investigation of your own ..... the baby was said to be full term but everyone
asked said rosie wasnt preg, pics and a video of her from two weeks before at the french market fest. are all over the net! judge for yourself

and one more thing to tmg , the father and rosie were the ones who called police ! anyone who really knows rosie or the ledet fam would know that rosie and morris have been divorced for the last three yrs. and who said rosie was hemoraging??? you seem to have info no one else does

Not impossible that she didn't know she was preg. Plenty of women never show; some never know until they r n labor. Either way and no matter who it was for, the actions taken were insane. One bad decision after another.

No doubt in my mind the baby was at or near full term. If it was big enough to wrap in a blanket, it was at least old enough to have been viable if born alive.

Divorced or not, they still shared the home. I know more than one couple who have been legally divorced for 10-20 yrs. or more and still live together as husband and wife.

And the person who told me she hemoraged happened to be getting treatment at the same hosp when she came in. However, that was AFTER I heard it from family member.

Either way, I wish it would have been handled differently. That would have saved a lot of ppl a lot of pain and heartache.

I guess if it's for us to know the truth, the results of the autopsy will come to light. Regardless, I will continue to pray for the souls of all those innocent babies lost in our area over the last few weeks. I ask everyone here to do the same.

this is a case where the news is wrong once more just for a good story! i would love to know what fam member would lie to you this way???? rosie was brought to a MENTAL hos. the baby WAS NOT wrapped in a blanket and rosie DID NOT share the house with her ex husband. idk who is giving you this info but they should get the facts!!! rosie was living in ELTON with the father. yes the TRUTH will be told to all soon !! the autopsy is over.

I don't know where the father of the baby was but i do know Rosie was in a mental help hospital.

May b mental hosp now, but 1st was not.

last time she was in ny morris was not there, rosie said her 21 year old daughter was PG and had complications
She also said she had headaches and what could have been a mild stroke, the meds she looked made her look puffy but not like she was PG.
