Elmwood Child Dies from Choking on Food
A 2 year old Elmwood girl died Sunday at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria after choking on popcorn last Thursday.

Ameren restores many customers with outages in state
The Ameren Illinois Utilities have restored service to about 23,600 customers in the wake of a storm that left about 43,500 customers in the dark early this morning.

It's noon on Friday in Elmwood and there's still no power. "When you want to get cooled off you don't have the air conditioner," said Tim Harms, Elmwood's Emergency Services Disaster Agency coordinator.
