By Monday evening the National Weather Service had confirmed that 5 separate tornadoes touched down on Sunday causing damage in 6 counties.
Tornado hit Elmore Sunday evening
An EF1 tornado reportedly touched down in Ottawa County Sunday night. According to the National Weather service, the tornado was on the ground for about three-quarters of a mile between Yeasting Road and Ohio 590 about three miles east of Elmore at 6 p.m. Sunday.

No bail was set. * Nicholas D. Klacik, 25, of 1015 Cardinal Drive, Port Clinton, was charged with felony counts of receiving stolen property and obstructing justice and was arrested by the sheriff's office.
