Vacaville Museum mounts works by Malaquias Montoya

THE REPORTER A cardboard likeness of internationally known Elmira-based artist Malaquias Montoya stands next his acrylic-and-collage artwork, “Virgin Campesina” , 40 by 55 inches, one of 35 pieces in various mediums that are included in the Vacaville Museum's newest exhibit, “Women I Have Encountered,” featuring his works that celebrate the contributions of women in both peaceful and turbulent times.
