Ellenton man charged with golf club theft in Parrish
A 20-year-old Ellenton man has been hit with the unusual charge, "theft after trust," in connection with golf clubs valued at $1,350 found missing from the suspect's former employer, River Wilderness Golf & Country Club in Parrish.
Five suspects sought in Ellenton home invasion
According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, a man and woman were at the home in the 600 block of 25th Drive East during the invasion, which occurred about 10 p.m. The man told deputies he had been standing in his driveway when he was approached by a number of masked men, who ordered him into the home.
