Elk Grove Man Killed At Job Site
A man from Elk Grove was among two Teichert Construction workers who died in a Paso Robles trench when an apparent water main rupture filled the hole and washed them into a pipeline they were installing.

I feel for thos families grieving now, i am a wife of an employee at teichert Construction. I feel my husbands stress everyday, because lately they have been pushed to do more and get more work done. I feel that they don't take the necessary precautions to protect our husbands or wives that could be out in the job site. Many things could be avoided if safety measures were taken my these foremen that are being pushed by the bigger man in the main offices. I hope those families find the consolation to go on and that there is a full Cal Osha investigation.

From my understanding and the entire inside info I have received of this terrible tragedy, I have no doubt that criminal charges will be a factor to this case. The laws governing construction safety does not just apply to the men in the field but does climb the chain to management that was over seeing the work, and more than likely will. If you don’t do this then project managers will only continue to push the foreman as far as they can to turn the profit and receive their bonuses. The young Man killed was my Nephew.
