Elephant Butte Marina Sinking After Huge Thunderstorm

T or C police confirmed that a huge thunderstorm, with winds up to 60 mph, has slammed into the marina at Elephant Butte Lake.

My son was there when the storm hit.One of the marinas boats hit his boat after it had broke loose. He and his friend secured that boat and his boat (which had sunk) with ropes to his truck. The next morning the people from the marina came down to get the boat. When they were told their boat had hit my sons they basically told him to bad. Then without even saying thank you they got on the boat and left.Class act.
