Does it really matter? Your comment is insensitive and out of place. He served our country and he deserves our respect. My condolences to the family.

I went to high school with Eduardo Caraveo and have always considered him a friend. Caraveo, as we called him then, was always abeat and positive. I have very fond memories of him eventhough we did not stay in touch since our 11th year reunion at the Bronco Ballroom hosted by Felipe and Frank Sano and featuring Sonny Ozuna.

May Caraveo rest in peace and I'd like to respectfully extend my condolences to his family.

Sincerely,

Rocky Perez

What an asinine question!! He was serving in the US ARMY by choice! He swore an oath to protect this country and it's citizens. Where were you? Have you ever served anything other than your own best interests?

Another asinine comment. Muslims are no different than Catholics or Jews or Protestants. The average Muslim wants peace and harmony as much as anyone but there is a civil war raging in Afghanistan. If you think you are better than the Muslim man in the street (or woman) you need to review the history of your own preferred religion for the majority of them have very violent pasts.

Religion has been at the root of all the wars of mankind as far back as you can find historical reference and it starts with one asinine comment like yours.

I hope every one understands that Nidal Malik Hasan is just another infiltrator within our country and armed forces bringing the fight to our back yard. This other crap about Muslims in our country condeming what he did is bull shit! They want to destroy us and like the sneak attack on 9/11 they continue to go after us. We educate their asses and this is what we get. When will we stop being so stupid and start kicking their ass out of this country?

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Eduardo was my uncle and I know that he loved his family, his country, and public service. He will be greatly missed and will continue to live in our memories. A true inspiration to everyone who met him. Thank you.

This is what happens when we let Muslims into the military. I feel for all the victims and I hope this terrorist gets what he deserves

Not all military people are doing stupid things. unfortunately we have a few bad apples. We are not crazy. We are defenders of freedom by choice, even freedom of speech which allows you to say what you said about the military. But i must admit, id want to kick you A#% for saying that! Mal agradecida.

Not exactly - El Diario has the truth about him, he wasn't from El Paso, he is what they call over there a "juarense".

Era juarense una de las víctimas en Fort Hood

era nativo de Ciudad Juárez

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Aquarius

You will not be satisfied in your work place, but give it some time and things will fall into place. Those in the construction business should get some good news. Aquarian homebodies will find things rather hectic and may develop a headache by the end of the day, so you should avoid negative thinking as much as possible.
