Regarding "Guns bought here tied to 55 slayings in Mexico" , I believe the article is insinuating that if gun sales were banned in America, firearms would be unavailable to the Mexican drug cartels.

Galveston Beach Patrol saves 78-year-old man who drove into Gulf
A 78-year-old man from El Lago on Thursday credited the Galveston Beach Patrol for rescuing him after he drove into the Gulf of Mexico and found himself trapped in his car in 8 feet of water.
