Peace Pilgrim's message carried on

On Jan. 1, 1953, Mildred Norman got dressed and went for a walk. The Egg Harbor City, N.J., native kept walking for 28 years, wracking up about 25,000 miles on simple canvas shoes, all in the name of peace.
