Do cops belong in our schools?
We're told by cops that those registered on the Internet are the "stranger-dangers," but wouldn't citizens with children be better served if a roster of local police were posted on the Internet? It's scary to think cops get a free, unquestioned pass into our schools to address our children, or even interact. Talk about grooming. |

I teach my children that should a police officer ever approach them, you treat the situation the same as if any other stranger were approaching them. Scream and run away to a populated area.
With the well-earned reputation cops have of being rapists and child molesters, I would NEVER teach my children to trust one. |

You are one American Citizen who gets the point about cops. But remember to treat all the same, so that your children don't believe any certain authority is safer than another. This danger is created by the idiocy that is a SO registry, where politicians harvest votes and make citizens believe they are safe, except for those put on "the list" for witchhunting purposes. And to top it off, half the people on the list have been railroaded by corrupt cops and prosecutors who are attempted to fast-tract their careers. Topix canned me as an editor for my stance against corrupt authority, but you can find further reporting and links and ideas about how to try to protect yourself and loved ones from authoritative abuse, at "Innosense4U." Another awesome web site for learning the same can be found at the Innocence Project. |
