Former cop charged in sex with teen

I think police who lie/twist the truth on police reports should be put in jail too. I believe there are only a few bad apples on the force (usually younger-macho ones). When you know what I know, you never forget. It also changes how you feel next time you are called to sit in a jury or your trust in the system of justice.

Preying on children. The lowest of the low. Another example of a pedophile putting himself in a position to be one-on-one with children. Why does the article refer to the physical contact the adult and minor had as sexual relations? Shouldn't it be 'rape'? What gives?

I'm not saying it didn't happen but it doesn't sound like something a 14-year-old boy would typically tell his classmates at a new school. But it also probably isn't typical that a cop would volunteer as a computer science teacher.

"Rape" normally would involve force or the threat of force so if neither of those was involved it more properly should be called "statutory rape" if the child was a voluntary participant.

Don't confuse homosexuals with pedophiles. But you are right about keeping perverts away from children. I hope the boy can, somehow, go on with a normal life.

Sorry, but I was 14, a boy, and there is no way in H E L L that I would have allowed this guy to have his way with me and if he forced himself on me by overpowering and subduing me, I'd have gone to my parents and the authorities the moment I was set free.

This little twerp was and is a homosexual and the affair was consensual. Maybe they broke up afterwards or maybe the kid got mad over something the cop said or did and now wants revenge.

No genuinely heterosexual male engages in anything like this casually and submissively and then later has second thoughts about it.

I'd also be willing to bet he has been in other relationships concurrently with and consecutive with this one more than we can count. The "friends" he bragged to probably know this well.

Actually, I thought the same thing and did a little research so I could back that claim up. It turns out that a lot of these women end up doing time - just not the young pretty ones. Admittedly, some of those who do real time keep going back to bang the kid after they are out on bail, etc.

I hope this guy does some real time, and that the women who have made the news recently do some time as well.

What is happening to people now-a-days? It's as though you can't trust your children with ANY adult anymore. You used to think that you could trust cops, firemen, teachers, doctors etc... We live in a sick and sad world.

I knew this guy and he wasn't a bad person. Just INSANELY secrative. He would make anyone who did anything with him promise not to tell anyone. He also liked to do things that were risky... I'm sure it excited him. When he says at the end that he was curious what it was like to be with aguy, he's covering his own ass because he's been caught and doesn't want to be labeled gay. He's been caught before but got away with it because he knew the policeman who caught him. He's not a bad guy, but from what I can tell, I imagine the boy to have probably been very obviously gay becuase if he's willing to kiss another guy on school grounds and then spout out that he's proud to have been with a teacher, not any type of guy would say that...and not just any guy would catch Michael's eye anyway.

This 14 year old "boy" was actually 15 and he is also 6'0 tall, so quit acting like he was overpowering him, the 15 year old was a creep and a jerk anyway, so why dont you people get back on with your worthless lives.
