Man killed in drive-by shooting
An Orlando-area man was shot dead Wednesday night in Eatonville, police said Thursday.
The 19-year-old, whose name was not released, was walking back to his car after visiting relatives when he was shot, an investigator said. The man was on Calhoun Avenue, north of Kennedy Boulevard, when someone drove by in a dark green Ford Taurus or similar car and shot him once in the chest about 8:45 p.m., police said. He died an hour later at Florida Hospital Orlando.
No further details were available Thursday.
