The holiday weekend festivities wind down Sunday with three local events. A free Old Fashioned Independence Day Celebration, featuring fireworks, is planned from 2 to 11 p.m. Sunday at Preble County Historical Center outside Eaton.

Kevin William Reed, 35, of Eaton has been indicted in the Preble County Common Pleas Court on one count of sexual battery of a minor for actions which took place in part at the Higher Heights Church in Camden, according to a Camden police report.
