Find a young fawn that appears to be abandoned? 'If you care, leave it there.'
I reported last year on a Madison County woman who came across what she thought was an abandoned fawn on a hike in Eaton last spring and ended up being ticketed by a DEC officer for her actions.

Common Council approves $109,000 for emergency vehicles
Citing deteriorating conditions of service vehicles at the Norwich Fire Department and mounting pressure to maintain emergency services for city residents and contracting townships, the Norwich Common Council on Tuesday approved purchase of two used ambulances and one used fire truck to add to the NFD fleet.
