EASTON, Kan. a ' A Leavenworth man drowned Monday in a private lake owned by his father-in-law. The Leavenworth County Sheriffa TMs Office says Danny L. Schlickelman, 58, was trying to remove a blockage in an overflow drain in the lake in the 21000 block of Easton Road around 3:30 p.m. Monday.
