Its kinda hard to feel sorry for any of the animals in this scenario other than the pitbulls. Since they were obviously all involved with dog fighting, it sounds like that kid in a wheelchair is poetic justice, and the other POS in Jail is gods work. I hope every time he cant stand up and pee, or scratch below the waist he thinks about how much the animals suffered being bred to fight.

You sir are the worst kind of human being that walks the face of this earth. To say what you did about a child who is stricken to a wheelchair through no fault of his own and to pitty the dogs over him is disgusting. You see I know both of these families and they were and still are good people. It is just that this younger generation has no respect for he life of another human being, sort of like you. I am sure young Jeffrey had nothing to do with the dog fighting if that did take place there I have personal knowledge from people who live very close to them that they have never I said never heard anything the even resembled the sounds of dogs fighting coming from that location. My heart and my families heart goes out to the families of both of these children and we will pray that they will live together in harmony as they have done in the past. That they will draw on this experience to better themselves and thier community. Jeffrey and Mitchell Sr. As a friend of both of you this I will pray. patrick bates wrote: Its kinda hard to feel sorry for any of **** in this scenario other than the pitbulls. Anytime you can care more about a dog than an innocent 12 year old boy there is something wrong with that picture.

Yeah I know what you mean. And to think that they walk amoung us feeling the way that they do. I have even had some stalkers here and there they follow me from post to post trying to discredit me and besmirch my good name lolololo. Anyway nice to see you out here fighting the good fight. Later. The Bronx wrote: <quoted text> Yes, I'm here from time to time. I can't make it a habit because I get frustrated with the ignorance and intolerance of some of the people on here. goodbye to you

why do you have to read a newsday story 3 times to make any sense of it? especially when most people knew the story from when it first happened. im sure if the writer knew the pitbulls names she would have used them in the article to make it more confusing

They use places like this topix board to "vent" there true feelings. They know this is the only place they can come that that nonsense is accepted and even cheered on. They are like infectious germs in the toilet bowl that breed off each other and spread there infections germs that need to be disinfected with Lysol. You wouldn't happen to have a can of Lysol would ya!

What is the penalty for the father who was involved with an illegal activity that resulted in this injury. The mother states how much she wants to shooter to suffer for her son's devastating injuries but doesn't she look at her husband and realize he is the most irresponsible person in the equation??? BTW don't be a deer in the headlights you knew what was going on at the house.

You are out to lunch! Although convoluted I think he was making a point that these dogs are innocents also just like this little boy. Its disturbing and outrageous that this situation was created by his own parents. Even good people make mistakes and clearly they have made a grave error in judgement and have not only ruined their child's life and ability to function they have destroyed countless lives of dogs. If no-one in this neighborhood claims to have seen evidence of dog fighting they are looking but not seeing.
