He has a long record of violations and is still able to get behind the wheel of a car.
He, in my way of thinking,should have been in jail a long time ago,and why wasn't he checked out by his insurance company,if in fact he has insurance,when his policy became due? I know when ever I renewed my insurance my company did,,and I had to show my license.Thank god for a GOOD company.
They pastor says pray for thy enemy,,,I say pray for the police ,the insurance companies and the law makers,,,they are as guilty as he is and he will walk away in the end to do this again

Lord bless, heal, comfort all involved in this tragic situation.

I pray that Catalano goes to jail to do his penance...

In this time of sadness and suffering this father is leading his family with the help of the Holy spirit. To those that know the Holy spirit this is a reminder of the power of God. To those that do not know the Holy spirit you may not understand. Do not let your ignorance keep you from God. Learn about Jesus and his gift for us all. Develop a relationship with the Holy spirit. So if the Christian god (Demurge) is in control, where does this pastor get off calling Catalano the enemy? Wouldn't that thought process mean that that which controlled this tragic situation (his supposed god) is the enemy too?

Ok, my question has still not been answered by newsday or anybody who knows the facts. Who caused the accident in the first place, did catalano blow the red light heading north on 101 and hit the girls, or did the saturn blow the read light heading west while catalano was crossing through??? Pray for catalano so that when he gets out he may rot behind bars or better yet give him the lethal dose...

People tend to hide behind a phony god when they have no other answers.

Tell me something. If there really is a God, why would he let such a tragic event take place in the first place? Don't give me that bull that he "needed another angel". That line is old & tired.

Bottom line. There really is no God & if there ever was one to begin with, he is either dead or over-vengeful towards his supposed disicples.

A God like that, we don't need. I've been alive 40 years, no thanks to any God that may or may not exist.

My thoughts are with this family during this tragic time, but not my prayers. Prayers go un-answered or fall on deaf ears.

Pray for thine enemy....
...then sue them from here to Sunday for all they've got.

If you knew anything about Christianity, you would know that God gave men free will... this means that God does not control us, we are responsible for all of our own actions.

But continue to disparage that which you do not know or understand, it just proves you are ignorant, nothing more.

Good post James. I don't think non-believers are ignorant though, just lacking in the FAITH department.

I was just wondering if Willie Combs would be so quick to forgive/pray/whatever, if it were one of his children who died in this accident?????
