Scherzer, Sykes-Miessi lead race for East Palo Alto Sanitary District board

Dennis Scherzer and Joan Sykes-Miessi were leading the race for two open seats on an East Palo Alto sewer board as of 8:30 p.m. today, edging out Edrick Haggans, according to unofficial results posted by San Mateo County Elections Office.
