This some dumb ish, how do you report daily on the murders and drugs in the little 2.5 mile town of East Palo Alto BUT you expect the people to be Happy and overjoyed about a damn rugby or soccer field! R U FREAKIN SERIOUS? Do priorities mean anything to the planning committe? Horrible, I say Just Horrible a Rugby or Soccer field, you got to be kidding me!

It's great that kids in EPA are going to get this field! They can run around, play and develop themselves in a healthy way. It's too bad so many posters here just want to EFFing (negatively) RE-ACT in bigoted, overgeneralized ways. It really just shows their ignorance & lack of understanding. A lot of people here on these sites just like to make racial slurs & take pot-shots at groups who are different than they are. I guess it floats their boat &/or makes them feel superior or okay for an instant; (instead of FEELING "LESS THAN" inside their heads. This feeling of superiority or "GETTING EVEN" only lasts for an instant though.

I'm all for helping kids. Doesn't matter what color, race, nationality they are.

By the way, I happen to be (white) and was born & raised in the city of Palo Alto.

People need to learn how to be more tolerant of others' differences. It makes living life easier.

"The field will be used for soccer, football, rugby"-you get a lot of information if you read the article and it may answer your questions.

Hey Bob,
Do you think if I lost two sons and a husband to gangland violence, that that fact would turn me into a racist or a bigot? Well I'm sorry if something similar to this has happened to you, or someone you know. It just seems like anger and violence beget anger and violence and then it's a never-ending "tit-for-tat".

Daily Horoscope for December 8

Taurus

This is another day in which you should be monitoring the progress you've made so far with the festivities and deciding what has still to be done. You're operating very efficiently right now but you'll be even more effective if you can plan your time carefully, write lists of what you must buy or make, and be realistic about your capabilities. But don't expect to work miracles.
