Midwest Express announced today plans to create a new regional logistics center on its campus near East Liberty, which will create 50 new jobs and approximately $1,300,000 in annual payroll.

A local resident was injured in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of South Main Street and Auburn Avenue Tuesday afternoon around 1:20. The Bellefontaine Police Department reports that Charles Blankenship, 55, of 11504 Tecumseh Path, Lakeview, was driving an '09 GMC Sierra northbound in the inside lane of Main Street.

Raymond Joseph , 36, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to four years in prison, a two-year license suspension, and three years mandatory post release control after prison for two counts of trafficking in drugs and single counts of possession of drugs and intimidation of a witness.
