NY Dad Accused In DWI Accident Injuring Child
A Long Island man is accused of having a drunken driving accident that injured his child.
Police say John C. Concannon of East Islip fell asleep and his truck hit a parked car on Sunday night in East Islip.
His 9-year-old daughter was treated for minor injuries.
Concannon was awaiting arraignment Monday on charges of driving while intoxicated and endangering the welfare of a child.
The name of his lawyer could not immediately be determined.
