A woman is charged with causing a head-on crash near East Helena that killed a 51-year-old woman and her 16-year-old granddaughter.

Capt. George Cruickshank of the Lewis and Clark County Sheriff's office says the two women were traveling on U.S. Highway 12 Wednesday night when they were struck by a vehicle driving the wrong way.

George F. Hiltabrand was born on March 28, 1925, in Lostant, to Henry H. and Lois M. Hiltabrand.
