How can you announce a negative number and call it "earnings"?

Did anyone notice the sec filing yesterday about cutting the pay for board members? Why did the bank wait this long to do this, is it because they are going to close and wanted to get paid as long as they could. It states in the sec filing from 8-23-09 that "we are seeking to comply with the cease and desist order issued by our supervising authorities, but we are not yet in compliance; failure to achieve compliance could subject us to further significant regulatory enforcements action, including placing our subsidiary bank into a receivership." and " we have concluded that there is substantial doubt about our ability to continue as a going concern" Any comments?

The bank stinks we should start a class action law suit against them. I am sure there are a ton of people out there that has been ripped off by them. It's called asset stripping preditory lending I hope they all go to prison for a long time they are crooked bastards. Hopefully by the time the FBI and states attorney is done with them will do a long time in jail. All the people that work for the bank have no idea what is happening they don't have the balls to tell people to start looking for another job. Tracy and the rest of the people up top have money and will walk away. The tellers and everyone at the customer level are the ones that are gonna get screwed get your money out now while you can before certain people disappear with your money like Bernie Madoff.
