Dover board OKs cell tower proposal
The Selectboard made a motion Tuesday, signaling its approval of the construction of a mobile phone tower on the Stubb Thomas property in East Dover.

Stubborn Newfane fire displaces family of 3
A family of three escaped serious injury, Friday, following a house fire, although two dogs were killed in the afternoon blaze which destroyed a modular home on Oak Hill Road.
Residential fire destroys garage
The cause of a fire that ripped through a three-bay garage on Saturday afternoon has yet to be determined, but Wilmington Fire Chief Ken March has called the fire "nonsuspicious." The garage was detached from a residence at 185 Smith Road, and the fire caused no damage to the residence.
Marlboro Post Office cuts hours
Walter Rowland, Postmaster of the Manchester, N.H. post office, did not have very good news to deliver when he met with a crowd of residents this week to talk about the future of the Marlboro post office.
