Homestead School celebrates 70th ye.....

More than 70 years after the first Homestead communities were established in Dailey, East Dailey and Valley Bend, it's as if no time has passed for residents and alumni of Homestead School.

Funds will keep HPSD self-sufficien.....

The Tygart Valley Homestead communities were developed with federal funds and created to be self-sufficient. Much like the original federal money, the funds awarded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture will continue to make small communities more efficient in the future, explained Huttonsville PSD Executive Secretary Bonnie Serrett.

USDA Rural Development Gives Earth Day Award To Huttonsville PSD

The PSD says this is the third time it has received the award. It will use the money to complete a sewer project serving Dailey, East Dailey, and Valley Head.
