Police on Friday said a Madison County man chased down a burglary suspect and hit him with a bat, leading to the suspect's arrest.
Madison County sheriff's detectives said Ryan H. Oglesby, 17, broke into three vehicles in the East Alton area on Sunday. One of the victims chased Oglesby and hit him with a baseball bat, causing Oglesby to drop some stolen items, police said.
