Former WWF wrestler, 'Million Dollar Man' Dibiase making two stops in Dyersburg

Full story: State Gazette

Dyersburg residents who used to watch Ted Dibiase storm into the World Wrestling Federation arena as The Million Dollar Man in the 1980s and '90s may find it difficult to believe that one of wrestling's ultimate bad guys will spend two days this weekend behind the pulpit in Dyersburg.

Hummm... Mr. Lewis if RAW is not good and it sets a bad example - maybe you shouldn't watch it. I think you're stretching it just a wee bit - pulling for straws, man! C'mon man - all of wrestling is a put-on show. Most children know that grown sons don't slap their dads in the face. If he can help change lives for the better than why not get behind him?!!

I heard him talk on WTRO the other day, I was not impressed by his talk of God, he knows the south is the bible belt , and he is out to make himself money using God for his promotion in the south. the radio announcer seemed so at awe with this swindler and con. he is a phoney for sure. know jesus, I doubt it but neither does the radio announcer that was so impressed by his lies . but what do you expect from men that are so in awe with other men these days.

You know for people to judge Ted D. when they don't even know him - pretty bad. I don't know you, but I can see clearly that you have to put others down to make yourselves feel better about who you are and the way you live - if you think that's judgmental then you should be fine with it seeing you have no problem doing that to others. No one who came had to give a dime - and it was NEVER promoted as a wrestling event. He did a great job - spoke to young people and to the church and shared about a life of mistakes made better by the Grace of God. Instead of knocking it maybe you should try it... God that is.

I was there Sunday. Very humble man-- you can't fake that. He didn't ask for a dime. Signed autographs and posed for pictures for FREE. Had a very moving, powerful testimony that pointed people to the Cross-- not to men.

so the man is going to make money using God, to me that is worse than the money changers jesus threw out of the temple. he spoke of david, but look how he goes into a ring and acts like he is beating up on men, that are stuck on theirselves. he says a man doesn't have to fight to be a man, true, but he forgot all men had their battles through out the bible. and they didn't go around in trunks and putting on a show either. all was done in truth no fakey phoney dealings. God gets no glory from this kind of money changers. if he wants to be a wrestler and make money so be it, but don't say God has anything to do with what he is doing. he is the one in the spot light not God.

he said someone called him and asked him to speak on the radio , he was in another state at the time, he said yeah, why not. he did it for publicity, for his self. he didn't impress me much at all.

Once again...another brilliant (judgemental) argument from "God's #1 christian" Stormy!!

You see Stormy...you're one of the main reasons that people shy away from so called "christians." You see...when you constantly talk of being holy and in the same breath, you cast judgement or damn someone...you exhibit the same attributes as the sinners you despise!

Why would anyone want to be judged so harshly and without facts by someone that claims to be "christian" and doing God's work? I thought that christians were to spread God's word and enlighten...not condemn and be hypocritical!

Great job again at showing everyone what a piece of work you are!!!

I don't have to put other people down to feel good about myself. but fake and phoney bull crap belongs in it's place just that, phoney and fake and that is what he is. mister I have read the bible more in my life than most, and I know jesus personally. I also know he wouldn't be caught doing anything phoney or fake , especially as phoney as wrestleing is. he is getting money for sure some where. don't be deceived some people will believe anything and anyone. what church did he speak at? did he go in his tight bikini batheing suit? in front of women and children? he is still making mistakes using God as so many do these days to steal from God. if he has a testimony of jesus let him use it without , using God to make his money.

Stormyweather seems to be descriptive of who you are. Have you lost your mind?!?!?! Really? I imagine you didn't give a dime - got a FREE word so WHATS YOUR PROBLEM?!!! You seriously need help... seriously!!!!! You sound like a person who's fighting conviction - plenty of other people were touched and moved and if he gets some money SO WHAT!!! Read the Bible!! The Apostle Paul got Paid - you gotta problem w/ Paul?!!! You're just spilling out the same old 'religious' junk that I'm so tired of!! Get Saved!!!!

I know the world is changeing, but as the bible says jesus said I am the same yesterday, today and forever. we are in this world but not part of it, meaning you don't take on the worldly ways, Ted D is taking part of exactly what the world is about, but has nothing to do with God or jesus at all. it is like most do , not for the prosperity of a ministry for god for their own greedy prosperity. open your spiritual eyes try it, seeing through Gods eyes of discerment>>> Jesus that is

and don't tell me jesus was never angry or upset and or any that hog wash that is going on today. because that is a lie, as so many other ways people want people to fit into a mold forgetting all that god is we were made in his image with . people can express theirselves in any emotion given by God without crossing the line of sinning.
