The Dubuque Telegraph Herald reports the fire broke out at 14628 Burtons Furnace Road in Durango around 6:30 p.m. Two adults and five children, ages two to seven years, got out of the home but weren't able to grab any of their possessions.

Five children and two adults have escaped without injury from a fire that heavily damaged their home in the eastern Iowa town of Durango.
