New details are being released about a body found Monday in Marinette County. The body was found by a fisherman in a creek in the Town of Dunbar.

A body was discovered in a creek in Marinette County, sheriffa s officials said.

Sheriff Deputies say they got a call Monday afternoon from a trout fisherman that saw the body.

At the Wednesday, June 3, meeting of the Marinette County Highway Commission, Commissioner Mark Desotell outlined a proposal to request $1 million from Marinette County to improve and reconstruct County Trunk L from US 141 west to Pike Plains Road.

Five students have been awarded $1,000 scholarships by the Niagara Area Medical Society.
