A former Postal Service employee was sentenced Monday to serve two years of probation after pleading guilty to failing to deliver hundreds of pieces of mail to customers in Dumas.
Dumas pharmacist gets more than $15K in fines
State pharmacy officials have ordered a Dumas pharmacist to pay more than $15,000 in fines after he allegedly threatened a pregnant pharmacy inspector during a 2011 inspection and sold prescription drugs to undercover investigators.

Dumas, Sunray see sales tax increases
Sales tax allocations recently announced by Texas Comptroller Susan Combs indicate an increase for two Moore County communities - Dumas and Sunray - while Cactus lost only $60 off of last year's total for this same reporting period.
