I work with the mother. My heart goes out to her and her family: unimaginable tragedy.

I am a co-worker and friend of the grandmother to the girls. When we received the news at work, it was hard to contain our emotions. Our prayers are with the entire family. We love you Angela and Emma.

There are no words; I pray that they allow the Lord to heal them as they work through the grieving process. It's going to take a true relationship with Him. SGM Wingfield the Bolden's are standing in the gap for all of you. We love you all to life, Charles and Lenay Bolden
"If tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see, if the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today, while thinking of the many things, we didn't get to say. I know how much you love me, as much as I love you, and each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too. But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name, and took me by the hand, And said my place was ready, in heaven far above, and that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love. But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye, for all my life, I'd always thought, I didn't want to die I had so much to live for, so much left yet to do, it seemed almost impossible, that I was leaving you. I thought of all the yesterdays, the good ones and the bad; I thought of all that we shared, and all the fun we had. If I could relive yesterday, just even for a while, I'd say goodbye and kiss you and maybe see you smile. But then I fully realized, that this could never be, for emptiness and memories, would take the place of me. And when I thought of worldly things, I might miss come tomorrow, I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow. But when I walked through heaven's gates, I felt so much at home, when God looked down and smiled at me, from His great golden throne, He said, "This is eternity, and all I've promised you." Today your life on earth is past, but here life starts anew. I promise no tomorrow, but today will always last, and since each day is the same way, there's no longing for the past. You have been so faithful, so trusting and so true, though there were times you did some things, you knew you shouldn't do. But you have been forgiven, and now at last you're free. So won't you come and take my hand, and share my life with me? So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, I'm right here, in your heart " |

SGM Wingfield was my 1SG in Afghanistan 04 - 05 and he was my 1SG while I was attending ANCOC(Advanced Noncommissioned Officers Course)at Fort Gordon, GA 06. SGM Wingfield is a great leader and mentor to all he serves with in the US Army. My family as well as my church (Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, Albuquerque, NM) are in prayer for SGM Wingfield and his family. This is one of those times that I ask God to give me answers as to why. I've been reading scripture, trying to understand the reason for such pain. For me, it makes me hold my babies just that more tighter, love that more harder, and praise God more frequently. Tomorrow is never promised! Tell those you care for you love them! Forgive those that transgress against you! Get on your knees and thank God for what you have and for what he will bless you with.
1 Corinthians 2:9 NIV However, as it is written: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him" 1 Corinthians 15:54-57 (New International Version) 54When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."[a] 55"Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?"[b] 56The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. May God keep you and comfort you! Godbless!! |
