Think about this young man as you enjoy your holiday today. He and many others are the reason you can.

Mr. Isaac Gallegos and family.....I want to personally thank you from the bottom of my heart for the sacrifices you have made for the freedoms I sometimes take for granted. You SIR, are my hero. I cannot begin to describe how touching your story is to my heart. I, as well as my family, are forever grateful for your service to this great country we live in. I will forever be in debt to you. My prayers are always with you and your family young man. May God bless you.......and again, THANK YOU from the depths of my soul.

All the way Marine, I am sure you will make it back. God bless you and your family, always. I am also glad that this serviceman did not have to return home and witness on his first day the unpatriotic acts that continue to occur in SJC. US Flags flown upside down, Anti-Government Tea-bagger rallies, etc. Common San Juan County show just a little USA spirit this weekeed and than everyday.

My daughter is in the Navy and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her safety. My heart is with the parent of Isaac. I can't image the heart ache you have felt. Thank you Isaac for the sacrifices you have made.

God bless you and keep you brother. You are another example of what keeps this beautiful country the strongest in the world. You exlemplify
values that some people in this world don't understand, esp those that complain about the war and the violence and don't get "why" they have the "freedom" to complain such as they do. These values are not heard about much these days, values like Honor, Dignity, Bravery, Respect, the list goes on. I work at the VA treating soldiers such as yourself, and it is an Honor to serve you. I wish and pray for a strong recovery for you!

Thank you for the touching story of Isaac Gallegos. I am his aunt from California. Your story depicts the truth about Isaac, who's heart and passion is every bit American, just like his father, my brother Phillip, and my Dad. I certainly hope your story of Isaac reminds people of the sacrifice made every day by our soldiers, even though we only celebrate on a few holidays.I hope people take time to thank our service men and women through prayer and acts of kindness that emulate their bravery and pride in America. Bless you,
Gracie Gallegos

His services are appreciated! And one more thing Mrs. Gallegos.....we celebrate every day with the freedoms we have and others don't. Thank you for your post.

I read this true story and then I think of President Obama - of what a hero he is.
An American is a Comanche, Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navajo, Apache, Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as Native Americans. An American may also be English, or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be Canadian, Mexican, African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani or Afghani. An American can be Christian, or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. An American is also free to believe in no religion. Americans are not a particular people from a particular place. They are the embodiment of the human spirit of freedom.
Our forefathers and foremothers fought for national independence so we could all have the rights to independence, liberty, and freedom. They all came together and fought for this one cause. I think about the concept of freedom, I think how many men have fallen through the years. How many died on foreign Soil, How many mothers ' tears? How many pilots ' planes Shot down? How many died at sea, How many foxholes were soldiers Graves? I think just how many times That Taps had meant ' Amen,'When a flag had draped a Coffin of a brother or a friend. I think of all the Children, Of the mothers and the wives, Of fathers, sons and Husbands With interrupted lives. I think about a graveyard At the bottom of the sea, Of unmarked graves in Arlington. I think of all the Americans, not only those decorated, that have sacrificed so that others could be liberated and free. No, freedom is not free. Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for us, Jesus Christ and the American G.I.… one died for our soul, the other died for our freedom.
It is no wonder that Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez, the Castrists, the Hezbollah, the Hamas, the Guantanamo terrorists, the North Koreans, and virtually all sworn enemies of America are so thrilled by our man in the White House.
The Democrats will find out that earthly is not divine, for there is no insanity greater than electing a passively submissive pathological narcissist as president who wants to bring the Guantanamo terrorists to American shores.

Daily Horoscope for November 16

Taurus

Today's New Moon gives you a chance to improve your relationships, but beware of people who are deceiving you. Someone you trust may have proverbial feet of clay, so try not to be too disappointed. If you enter each new relationship with your eyes wide open, you can avoid the disillusionment that comes with wishful thinking.
