The problem with the new sheriff's idea is that he does not have a clue about rural areas. His only experience is from Chandler PD. I don't think San Manuel is anything like Chandler.

If you think someone needs to know about rural areas to effectively police rural areas, you are as dumb as people think "rural folk" are.....(which isnt true) San Manuel and Chandler do not have to be anything alike for someone to understand what people need or want from their "policing agency". Get a grip, grow up and accept the changes..... they are here

Just need to put in my two cents about what I have seen since the sheriff took office...Everytime a young person is pulled over it takes at least 3+ patrol cars to issue the ticket and yet all we hear is how they need more officers for better response time... I even heard this again the other day in Frys grocery.
