The Bernice Youth Program needs your help. The Rebel League, one of the oldest Dixie Youth summer baseball programs in Louisiana, is in danger of folding with only two teams remaining in the league. Bernice has long been one of the six teams composing this league, and a decision must be made as to which direction will take with its summer baseball program.

He went to the Baptist Academy and graduated in 1947. His first pastorate began in 1947 at Mt. Sterling Missionary Baptist Church in Bernice, LA. The Lord called him to go to First French Baptist in Jennings in 1948. (Name later changed to Calvary Baptist). When he left Calvary he served at Wayside Baptist Church in Pollock. When he left Wayside he was without a church but the Lord was not going to let him stay that way for long. After 3 months he began being a halftime preacher. He preached at Corinth and Hico in the Dubach area and Mt. Patrick in Bernice. Read more
