I plan on attending the Unity Parade. The women whose home was vandalized his herself of Mexican ancestry. If we allow the critics on this board to determine our destiny were destined to fail. We must embrace and acknowledge all the wonderful things that Blacks & Latinos have done collectively for this Great Nation. Primarily defending this country in time of war and building the infrastructure of this nation.

La Raza, is also translated as the people, it was a reaction against racism and a claiming of a mestizo ancestry (mixed indigenous and Spanish, mutt basically).

Wha....? La raza was a term coined (in the 1920's) by a Mexican author to identify as something other than Spanish. How is that racist? La raza means hispano or latino, same diff.

Mestizo and indigenous people in meso-america and south america were racially distinct from the european ruling classes, "la raza" as a term is no more racist than "us" "americano" "african american" or "irish american".

If one chooses to read into it a false premise that is of course one's prerogative, but it will make you miserable as the Mestizos you so dismiss and dislike will soon be the majority in So cal. fortunately real estate in south east Utah is cheap and picturesque.

Haha...You know not only the city of Duarte but surrounding area is gang infected crap city. People don't admit to the problems. There always be a racial tention and its going to be worse in city of Duarte. Good thing I don't llive there, I rather chose to live by all white city.
