Man Killed When Garage Collapses
A man was killed when a garage collapsed on him Friday morning in west suburban Westmont.
At 10:57 a.m., the Westmont Fire and Police departments responded to a report of a man caught underneath a garage that collapsed behind 317 S. Lincoln St. When crews arrived, they found a man dead inside the collapsed garage, according to a release from Westmont police.
The man has been identified as Downers Grove resident Dino Turco, 46.
The DuPage County Coroner's office remained on the scene as of 1 p.m., according to a spokeswoman.
