DOVER, Tenn.- In Stewart County, kids and teachers are getting a long weekend due to illness.

Over 50 booths were set up on Halloween with candy, cups, drinks, nuts and popcorn ready to hand out to the Dover trick-or-treaters. Kids and adults of all ages dressed up for the Halloween Festival on October 31, at the Stewart County Middle School.

The Stewart County Animal Management Program and the Humane Society of Dover- Stewart County have joined their all volunteer forces in an effort to expedite the day Stewart County will see a county operated Animal Shelter facility and an Animal Control Officer as well.
