The $2.2 million Hennessey Public School bond issue was easily approved Tuesday by school patrons.

The town's March sales tax return of $86,053 representing January's business was up $13,344 compared to the 2012's return of $72,709. March's return is down $26,781 compared to last month's record return of $112,834. Two Hennessey businesses were busted Friday night for selling alcohol to an underage customer in a sting operation by the Kingfisher County Sheriff's Office.
