Man dead after I-20 police chase

guess the state lost that $20 bucks.He won't be renewing HIS license.What could someone do that is so bad the cops chase him till he kills himself?

Ok, maybe this is a bit more callous than I like to come off as usually, but here it goes:

Anybody that will drive 100mph with a 14 month old child in the car - Well, I'm ok with them being removed from the gene pool.

What the hell is wrong with people these days?

I hope the child is ok.

Drugs and/or mental illness comes to mind. Things have a way of working themselves out. That poor baby is better off without a parent like this, IMO. Think of the innocent bystanders that could have been hurt.....scary.

i agree with all of you if he runs with a baby in the car he deserves what he got but i really think we shouldn't be chasing people

i saw a child ambulence heading into atlanta this morning could it be that child?

If the police didn't chase criminals, they would commit crimes and run. Then we'd not be safe at all.

I just read the article and this fool was driving 100 mph BEFORE the police began to chase him. According to you that have posted, the police should have let him go???? He was already endangering lives. What the hell is wrong with you?

THE POLICE HURT MORE PEOPLE IN CAR CHASES THAN CRIMINALS DO POLICE MAY HAVE MORE DRIVER TRAINING THAN MOST PEOPLE BUT THE BOAT'S THAT THEY HAVE TO DRIVE WERN'T MEANT FOR THOSE KIND OF SPEEDS.
PERFECT EXAMPLE WAS IN ORLANDO IN 2004 A COP CHASED A PORSCHE AND A SPORTBIKE THAT WERE RACING THE COP TRIED TO RUN THEM DOWN BUT HE BLEW OUT A TIRE HIT A TREE AND OF COURSE DIED IF MY MEMORY SERVES ME RIGHT HE WAS DOING UPWARDS OF 150. THIS HAPPENED ON A 4 LANE HIGHWAY THAT HAD ALMOST NO TRAFFIC, NOW DO YOU THINK HE WOULD STILL SAY HE SHOULD CHASE THEM?

Well as far as all of you all are concerned that particular young man that died in the crash, has a child of his own and to the person that said he should be removed from the gene pool need to be ashamed of yourselves. This was a young life lost and now a precious little girl will never see her daddy again. God is the only one that has the right and the power to ends lives and with all that said yall need to pray more often.

That was me that said that someone who is willing to drive in excess of 100 mph with a child in the car would not be missed in the gene pool. I did not suggest that anyone should kill him. I was just taking note of God's good work.

A person going 100 miles an hour on the Interstate is endangering the lives of groups of people, not just the kid in the car.

As to why he was going that fast, there must be a reason. Where do you think he was going that required high speed?

OH he was a father? His child will never see him again??? I just thank GOD that child will live to see another day and that the idiot that was her sperm doner didn't kill her. Sperm doners aren't Daddys.

I agree, God is the only one who has the right and power to end lives. That said, God was doing His job and made sure the now deceased driver, that was attempting to elude the officers, met with God's predestined plan for him. Don't question God's plan. God knows what He's doing.

every other car that travels I-20 is running over 100

maybe since the cops killed the guy, they will furnish his wife and children food,.clothing, a house and christmas gifts.There are other way to catch someone than chase them till they die.What did he do? have a tail light out?

If you'll read the article, he was doing 100 mph when they tried to pull him over. He had a small child in the car. He was endangering his life and the lives of others.

I'm raising a child who's father died. I'm doing fine. Life is waht you make it. I think it's important for children to have 2 parents, but sometimes, things don't work out that way. And, perhaps that child is better off if her dad was so hap hazzard with humal life. Really, what kind of idiot runs from the police?
