A Zumba fundraiser Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. will benefit a local girl recently diagnosed with leukemia.

The Bite of Berks fundraiser is coming this fall. The Berks County Conservation District will host the event, featuring up to a dozen restaurants, bakeries, wineries and breweries in an informal competition to see who can make the tastiest one-bite appetizer, main dish, side order, salad or dessert.

The main award will be a suprise for Lion Paul Weller Jr. Paul will be named Blandon Lion of the year and will also receive the Pennsylvania Counsellors Distinguished Service Award.
